Does anyone know of a metal mesh that will not catch Gizmo's (a scruffy, long haired,
crowned, much loved, guinea-pig) claws, and that I can use for the bottom of his cage.
I found some once, about 30 years ago,in a scrap bin, it was a stainless sheet, punched
with 1/4 holes.
It worked a treat for the ferrets, but I can't find anything like it now.
Any suggestions would;d be welcome.
BTW, I am in the UK.

You should be using only a solid bottom for the cage. No wire or mesh
bottoms as they can damage a guinea pig's feet.

I got one reply to this request, to the effect that I shouldn't use mesh, as it can damage
their feet.
The material I am looking for is NOT a mesh, it was punched sheet, with more metal than
hole, and no where for their claws to catch.
It worked well with rabbits, guinea-pigs and ferrets, causing neither harm or hurt to any
of them, but thirty years later, I can't source it.
