I have a black bear hamster and it is losing hair but I don't think it has
mites so what else could it be? Also she use to be a black charcoal grey
color and now her fur is turning lighter and brown, is this normal?

Well, if it is losing hair,the most likely cause is mites...however it
could also possibly be poor diet. I hope you can find a solution to this
condition.
