Mine are all fond of chicory. Most of them like carrots (all except
one), and the same goes for peppers (paprica).
We can't feed them corn, because the vet told us not to. One of our
girls is diabetic, and corn seems to contain a lot of "starch". Oh well,
she doesn't seem to miss it, as there are plenty other vegetables to
give them :o) >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |

I have alfafa (lucerne) growing in the fields behind my house, can I pick it
fresh and feed it to my pigs or does it have to be dried?

I honestly don't know... But perhaps someone else here could have the
answer? >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |

I had a brown female Guinea who came from the breeders as a tiny baby
with ringworm and she was the cutest of creatures at 6 weeks old.I had
got used to her sweet nature and she was very tame. I asked the
breeder to take her back and cure the ringworm. When he brought her
back 2 weeks laterr, I saw her bite him really hard and I was shocked
as she was SO sweet and tame. When she came back to me she never bit
anyone again. It was quite clear to me that this man had been mean to
her in my absence. >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |

Such a thing is never an option for me. I simply don't feel right
getting rid of any animal. As soon as it enters my house, it is there to
stay. If for some reason problems occur, I will find another solotion.
I know, not everybody has the means to do this, but for me there's never
any question: I simply won't "bannish" an animal once it has been with
us. I bond to them too quickly ;o) >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |

That's funny: We have adopted a "Droopy", who was living at an animal
shelter. She used to be caged up with her friend "Snoopy", but that
piggy sadly died at the shelter.
We decided to let Droopy keep her name, although it definetely does not
match her personality. She came to live with us when she was 4, and is
now 6,5 years old - still going strong! >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |

Living in the Netherlands myself, I can confirm that the "Dutch" Snoepie
is simply a phonetic spelling of the English Snoopy :o) >> Stay informed about: Johnny died |
