To the end of the pregnancy, seperate the male from the female. The female
can be impregnated again right after giving birth, this is a bad thing of
course, and it is also bad for the female to have more than three litters a
year. The young males should be seperated from their mom and sisters at the
age of three weeks to prevent them of getting their mother or sisters
Give the mom-to-be plenty of hay to snuggle in, enough veggies to supply the
extra need of Vit.C and lots of love and attention. Beware that to the end
of the pregnancy she will not like to be picked up or handled, mostly
because her rear-end has become so heavy that it is difficult to handle her
the right way, even if you're very carefull.
Enjoy the process of seeing the future-mom grow, get the male neutered if
you want to keep them together after the pregancy and start looking for good
homes for those babies if you can't keep them yourself.
