Haven't been here for a while, don't know who's still around from the
days when I was active.

Some people had posted links to my "guinea pigs with diabetes"
information on their websites. FYI, I'm in the process of moving this
info to a new website:

So please, y'all, update your links :) I'll keep both websites going
for a while.

I don't have many of the GP pigtures moved to the new site yet, just the
diabetes info.

Hi folks;

I don't have piggies but it's always interesting to know information on
their care. I'll keep it in mind if I meet somebody with a sick piggie.

BTW, there's a hilarious video at

are trying to eat a piece of cucumber. It's one that I'm sure you could
watch repeatedly and still love it.

Fat guinea pigs - I have two guinea pigs. I feed them once in the morning (pellets, alfa treats and timothy hay). And once at night (pellets, veggies and more hay). They're getting fat. Am I not supposed to be feeding them so much? Every time I feed them the alfa..

how many guinea-pigs are too many - I had a friend who had 3 guinea-pigs in a 2x4 foot cage. The female got pregnant and had several babies. They gave all the babies away except 2. That left them with a total of 5 guinea-pigs. They tried to keep up with changeing the bedding and such..
